Cycle route around Lake Senftenberg
There is plenty for cyclists to discover on the varied 17 kilometre loop trail around Lake Senftenberg. You can enjoy fine views of the lake’s distinctive island, a designated nature conservation area, from all sides. The passenger boats Santa Barbara and Aqua Phönix offer cyclists the option of taking a bit of a shortcut across the lake. Koschen Canal, which connects Lake Senftenberg and Lake Geierswalde, was the first navigable link to be established in the Lusatian Lakeland and is well worth a quick detour.
