Hike "In the Footsteps of Krabat"
The hike starts and ends at the "Black Mill" in Schwarzkollm. For refreshments beforehand or afterwards, there is a restaurant on the premises called "Haus des Müllers". The hike begins in the direction of Schwarzkollm. Passing the Devil's Stone, also steeped in legend, and the village square with St. Mary's Church, the trail leads out of Schwarzkollm and into nature. Always following the "green dot", you pass three of the four mountains that surround Schwarzkollm and are depicted in the village's coat of arms. The Kubitzberg, the Petzerberg and the Gerichtsberg with shallow climbs. The trail passes through an extensive and enchanting pine forest landscape. A small part of the trail runs along the road connecting Schwarzkollm and Neukollm until it crosses the B97. From the southernmost point of the trail, the tour leads parallel to the former mine railway along the Dubringer Moor back to the Krabat Mill. Before returning, a short detour leads to the Heidemoor, a small part of the Dubringer Moor. For special nature lovers, there is the possibility of a stopover at a rustic moor footbridge off the path. Here you can walk along a small footbridge and enjoy the flora and fauna of the moor. On the way, there are always opportunities to take a rest along the way.
Tip: If you are looking for a souvenir or a memory, you will certainly find what you are looking for at the Hegewald pottery in Schwarzkollm. The ravens typical of the pottery have become an individual trademark and are now known far beyond the borders of Saxony.
