Are there paths in the lakeland area where I can ride my horse?
In the Saxony part of the Lusatian Lakeland, horses may be ridden on all marked bridle paths. Most of these are forest tracks.
In the Brandenburg part of the region, different rules apply. Here, the general rule is that horses may be ridden anywhere they are not expressly prohibited. Examples of paths where they may be prohibited include activity and educational trails, footpaths and cycle paths.
